What exactly is the difference between Eastern Orthodox Christianity as compared to Catholicism/Protestantism?

The principle difference between Catholicism and Orthodoxy is acceptance of the God-given authority of the Pope. Doctrinally they are otherwise very similar. The differences between either of these and Protestantism would depend on just which denomination of Protestantism you are talking about, and just which beliefs and practices of original Christianity they have rejected.
