7th grade math....help me!!?

Well, do they show you a diagram of it? Can you divide it into different shapes... let's say a square/rectangle and two right triangles? Then you could find the area of each of the parts and add them together. (area of a right triangle is 1/2 base times height, and area of a square and rectangle are base times height).
