I am connected to chat rooms but can't see the chat room screen! "Request took longer than expected"

First part of your question you should see with-in your yahoo messenger window Chat @ the top, If its not there i would completely remove yahoo messenger & reinstall. On the second part of your question I have had the same problems with yahoo the last few days only @ certain times of day i cant get into chat rooms i was told yahoo severs were packed with people (mostly booters & bots) Give it another shot & keep trying you'll get in.
