Can someone explain this?

The interesting fact is that the non-believers were being forced into believing in Islam and if they refused, they either had their hand amputated or were hung. Some time during this genocide of the non-believers they decided to fight back and killed Muhammed for creating such a vicious cult (I don't really consider it a religion). I am not sure if they won or not (lets hope they did).
