Carpet Cleaning Question!!?

i cleran mine every few months and what i use when i run out of carpet cleaner is 1 part vinegar and parts water, and just put that in the chamber where you would put your cleaner..the vinegar smell with go away once it dries, and vinegar will also kil germs and micorbes and litle things like that that live in the carpet without bleaching the fabric, or leaving residues that might harm small animals or children..and when im done with the carpets, i turn all the fans on high and let as much air circulate as possible, and it will taka atleast 3-6 hours to dry all the way and yes..it will be dry to the touch when its done
