Can a fighter today ever aculate 100 bouts?

Why don't fighters do it any more? I know many fighters like Louis, Chavez, Tyson , and Mayweather fought 12 bouts in their first year...Any thoughts as to why they slow down. Chavez fought 115 times. Ray Robinson had 200 bouts.
